Perhaps the school committee should have put money toward updating the technology in the schools and district, rather than toward raises for those sitting in offices on Bennett St. Staff and students have been having connectivity and access issues all year to the point it is impacting student learning. Staff and students are unable to use the tools so much funding is spent on, such as smart boards and IPads. Teachers are unable to access and post assignments and grades and students are unable to do assignments. And we already know the last school committee meeting to be posted online was in January.
