1). PICKERING is doing a fantastic job for a worthy cause. These are the kinds of lessons that will make a better school, a better country, a better world.
2). A fuzzy violation of an unclear policy of LPS FACEBOOK. Way back when PHELAN had FOX 25's cameras rolling, I took away from that big show of a meeting and a couple other follow-up ones that there would be no LPS FACEBOOK usage or at least that was the spirit of them.
I remember RICK STARBARD trying to point out the possible positive applications of SOCIAL MEDIA. No one wanted to FRIEND him. Now the schools have caught up with technology and are leaving LPS behind.
Heck I saw a post the other day from my nephew in TENNESE asking his ENGLISH teacher if they would have school the next day because of rain. So once again, we are behind those uneducated southerners. Grow up, if anybody does anything bad they are easy to catch. You can't even send a text message without the whole world having access to it. Look at the good and practical applications we are missing.
I told my nephew we just got 4 inches of SNOW the day before anf he answered they would have been out of school for months.
