Finally the MSBA is sending the balance, some $94.000, to LPS for the payment of work done to FALLON back in the day. This was a the final payment of a previous commitment....
BUT....
it had been held up since LPS had closed the school after taking the money from them for the reconstruction. They tend to get real persnickety when they are duped. So they held up their final payment, a reimbursement on money we already spent,

LPS did the WASHINGTON SHUFFLE, take some 47 behaviorally challenged students that were in the WASHINGTON SCHOOL were moved to the empty FALLON SCHOOL and the now empty WASHINGTON SCHOOL gets opened as a new elementary school that'd going to take three years to fully opened,
I don't know about you but I'm a little dizzy from all this shifting. However, the MSBA got their bearings and are satisfied with LPS's reuse plan.
STILL THEY HAD A STERN WARNING - DON'T BE CLOSING NO SCHOOOLS WITHOUT CHECKING WITH US FIRST.
