I can't figure this out! Hopefully somebody out there can help me. I mean we got somewhere in the neighborhood of 2300 to 2500 kids involved with the SPED Department and they have a line on their BUDGET PAGE for $60,000 in LEGAL EXPENSES.....
THEN.. ....
we have on our SUPERINTENDENT'S BUDGET PAGE a line for $70,000 for HER legal expenses. That's $10,000 more for ONE person - AIN'T THAT SPECIAL.
Truthfully, the Superintendent is dealing with more depts. than one...why are we paying for legal fees in Spec Ed? Just follow the plans, work for the child, and get rid of the attorney billing spec ed so much...a complete waste of tax payers money...superintendent should look closer into getting rid of some of the staff who causes chaos and doesn't live in the city...they don't care that taxpayers are footing the bills...use the money for staff and supplies...just ridiculous! Open your eyes super!
