WASHINGTON - I CANNOT TELL A LIE

We would like a little elaboration
on our former SCHOOL OF INNOVATION.
Neighborhoods we did constrict,
all in an effort to redistrict.

But to our total surprise
these plans did not arise.
So we missed out on a grant,
flexibility with teachers we can't.

Some are happy LATHAM did fail.
For charter schools it's a clear sail.
Our budget they will bleed,
less money to fix what we need.

  1. What else is new Lynn misses out on another grant...could it be because the Grants Director was fired by the super...how much more does our mayor need to see or hear to realize the school dept. is out of control...how come when other mayors were in office the schools weren't such a mess...what happened to the judy that said she was up for change, would have an open door policy, and there for voters...I guess she was just filling us with marshmallow Fluff...stanley get the juice on the federal grants lady who worked hard, was respected by her co-workers, and violated...what's wrong with the School Committee they allow these terminations to go through and act like they knew nothing...what a bunch of BS by all...stanley let the people of lynn know it's time for a new mayor, super, and a few SC members...they aren't representing the people, but instead are getting their families well taken care of with good jobs...what a huge disappointment for the first woman mayor of Lynn and what's gone on in her office...one has to wonder what next we will be hearing or reading...it's not positive either...oh yeah judy aren't you violating a health ordinance not taking care of the rat problem in the city...someone call the board of health in Boston and maybe the Environmental Police...someone is going to get bitten and sick...another lawsuit coming for sure...bye bye judy...as the old saying goes it takes one rat to know and like another rat, right!

    1. I'm beginning to think more and more like you, anon. But what's our alternative? A guy who boasts he'll bring Lynn back to the values of the 1950s?

  2. ANON & ECLECTIC.....anything is better than the JOKE we have now. The Lynn schools are a mess and the teachers, staff are not supported by the Super nad her cronies. Parents and teachers are paying for supplies in the classrooms and ALL of the buildings are in need of repairs. But, Donovan just sits at OLD TYME eating lunch and dinner acting like nothing is wrong. Such a shame we allowed thsi to happen to this once great city of Lynn. Too much corruption and good old boy/girl politics.
All yo usee is foreclosed homes and people walking away from their homes....rats everywhere...and the MAYOR is no where to be found. She allows that crazy girl Chalmers to run aroudn the coty acting like a mini Mayor...no degree, no education or professionalism....WTF!!!!!
