You know if you go into any LPS school office and can't find a pen or pencil to sign in the visitor's log or there is no paper to make a copy of a grade card, think of this:
The RAISE given to the SUPERINTENDENT by THE RAT LADY, CRAZY CAPANO, GIVE-IT AWAY GALLO, and JOHN "THE RIPPER" FORD was more than the line for office supplies for EVERY single school in LPS added TOGETHER.
That's what 27 schools?
WOW! So, you are saying that if the superintendent agreed to accept last year's salary, we could fully supply all the schools? Or maybe that IS her intention: to take all her extra money and buy paper and pencils for the schools?! Then the teachers wouldn't have to reach into their own pockets...how much of a raise did they get again?

ReplyDeleteThey must be SO glad that not one of them a child in the LPS system. THATS RIGHT NOT ONE PERSON ON THE SCHOOL COMMITTEE..something very wrong with this picture! Lynn is the ONLY city that votes in people with no children or qualifications into elected office.

Not just LPS...Remember that so called lottery Lynn was suppose to have used for summer jobs for kids?Well turns out Phelan's kid just so happened to get one of the slots??Was it just a coincidence that his name happened to have been picked?I must say,lots of coincidences seem to happen in this city!My kid could not get a summer job,but then again,I'm just a nobody who doesn't have any connections

DeleteI heard that each ward councilor got to choose one child to fill summer positions. Every other child's application was suppose to have been put in the lottery. Whether either of these is accurate, I don't know?

ReplyDeleteThat system has been in place for a long time. Each councilor gets one slot for a child in need of a summer job. But, I heard that plenty of summer jobs were to be had at LHA (housing authority) Did you try over there? The Mayor's family also has summer jobs. Go figure!!!!
