You know I hear about the lavish remodeling that was done in the princiPAL's office at COBBETT while students struggle to find a working bathroom.
Then there is thus proposed project. We can't have our administrators suffering. Sounds like more than a fresh coat of paint to me.
Donovan said the Ford Annex has been closed for about four years and needs at least $700,000 in renovation work. Mayor Judith Flanagan Kennedy said the renovations would be paid for at least in part with free cash. She also said she suspected it would cost closer to $1 million but Donovan said he is already working on keeping the costs down.
What we have is a system that has forgotten who is supposed to come first. Believe me our kids are learning but it's a lesson we don't want them to remember.
