There has been a lot of talk about different languages being spoken at Lynn Public Schools and well I'm sure it's not all been said but let me say this:
New equipment has been purchased by LPS - about 40 headsets - that will allow 3 different translators at once to translate the same message in 3 different languages at the same time..
Now mind you it has not been easy to even get one translaor in the building. Still this is a work in progress and we here at the WATCH applaud the way it's trending. BABY STEPS.
I know a lot of people are doing a lot of good things to help this all come together. I do want to give a shout out to LIL' LORI for giving a few people toasty toes for holding a few feet to the fire.
