PICKERING PRINCIPAL PUT;S ON PROGRAM

Mr. Rittershaus One of my initiatives as new principal is to provide information to parents about issues regarding adolescents. On Monday, February 25, 2013 at 6:00pm in the Pickering Middle School auditorium we are going to have our first (of what I hope will be many) parent workshop. The topic of this workshop will focus on nutrition and middle schoolers. Jeanne Baranek will be giving a presentation on nutrition and its importance. A representative from Whole Foods will also be providing coupons and samples. After Ms. Baranek's talk, she will have a Q & A session. The workshop should last about an hour or so. A flyer will be passed out to the students next week. If you can attend, please let us know so that we can provide an approximate number of attendees to our presenters. We want to keep the audience to parents only. We hope to try out different workshops throughout the year.
