PLANNING IMPROVEMENT

Parents: Councils link between at-home learning and school success

YUP! LPS is getting their money's worth from those PR PEOPLE. Looks like MARSHMALLOW is not the only FLUFF produced in LYNN. A couple of things this article kind of leaves out. You see both CONNERY and HARRINGTON got people looking over their shoulders because of a little thing called a LEVEL 4 status. Getting the PARENTS INVOLVED is all a part of the state approved REDESIGN PLAN ( didn't CONNERY have to redesign their redesign plan?).

Of course now, a lot of people think LYNN WOODS SCHOOL has MOST FAVORED SCHOOL status. What isn't deniable is that the small size makes a different animal than the seam splitting going on at a school like COBBETT. Things that work at one don't work at the other. SQUARE PEGS, ROUND HOLES.

In my most humble of opinions (I know, I know-don't choke on the word humble) these articles on the front page today were generated in an effort to stabilize the perplexity caused by the calling of the carpet over the LAW regarding the necessity over the need for SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT COUNCILS.

Oh there was plenty of chitter-chatter about SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT COUNCILS (99% of initiated by LIL' LORI - you know that would be a good rap name, especially since she got some COMMERCIAL STREET CRED) that DR. WARRY said had somehow mystically had morphed into these somewhat magical SCHOOL PLANNING COUNCILS, whatever that may be, be what may.

LSC MEMBER DONNA COPPOLA says "WHOA there NELLY (not her real name), you can't just MORPH the law, it calls for SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT COUNCILS not your derivation thereof. It is what it is."  It is like BLACK morphing into WHITE.

While we are on the subject of these meetings DONNA DEAR pressed ATTORNEY MIHOS on the matter. MIHOS mentioned in what may be thought of as an OPENING STATEMENT about OPEN MEETING LAWS. As such they should be subject to the posting of agendas, 48 hours previously.
Failure to do so could put LPS on jeopardy of being faced with $1000 fines (What is a violation? - be sure to answer in the form of a question).
