PRICKED BY A POINT OF PROCEDURE

Painful and puzzling, both at the same time, yup that's how I see it. I am talking about the "Request to Go into Executive Session to Discuss Contracts". You know the one the cancelled because they failed to post who the actual contract was for? Those pesky "Open Meeting" laws. I am curious now who's contract they were going to discuss. Hmmm. I bet whoever put it on the agenda knew. Curious!

MAYBE.....,

it was for...

the EXTENSION OF THE SUPERINTENDENT'S CONTRACT. Pretty presumptuous to put forth such a proposal, painfully hypocritical patriotic (remember at the swearing in she was the only person on stage who didn't cross their heart) pointed out about transparency. I believe the analogy she used was the old cliche of "putting the cart before the horse". I know, every body's old English teacher warned them about using tired, worn out cliches. Well this poet points out they are overused precisely because they are precise in pointing out the truth of the matter.

If it WAS the SUPERINTENDENT"S CONTRACT, why would you put it on before the decision had been made to extend it? If it wasn't, then who's was it?

  2. Call the law dept of Lynn! Better yet, raise these questions to the president of council. He would love to hear the facts you may have to present.

  3. The mayor is a hypocrite. She is intelligent at This game. it. She cries corruption. A witch hunt, while no one is gathering with pics and shovels at her door. Now no one is her friend. She can change that.
