LYNN ENGLISH FIGHTS TO KEEP SUPERINTENDENT?

I just finished watching the disgusting video of two Lynn English girls fighting on You Tube and it makes me even more convinced that we need to look for the BEST candidate to lead our schools. Will it mean we get a NEW superintendent?

I don't know, but I would like to point out that the PRINCIPAL of the high school where the combatants were from and was featured in the opening moments of the video was recently appointed by this same superintendent and he rushed to the OPEN MIKE the night of the school committee to encourage her contract be extended.

JUST SAYIN....

  1. He was speaking to extend her contract instead of attending his own school's open house. Priorities, priorities. "just sayin..."

  2. Really??? This event took place after school and in a playground - Not sure how any school employee is responsible - maybe the responsibility falls on the particpants in the video and their families - just saying...

    1. Did you notice at the beginning of the video LYNN ENGLISH was in the background? I don't discount the student's responsibility. However with that many kids involved, I don't think they kept it so quiet that no one should have been able to find out. And the school's mandate to care for the total student was used as justification for the creation of another $75,000 a year administrator for WRAP-AROUND services.

  3. This is not a school issue - this is two low lifers probably fighting over a boy. Police issue, Ok but not a school issue. If it can be proven that the principal or VP or others at the school knew about it and did nothing it's a school issue. Why does everyone always look to blame someone else. This is a parenting issue. nothing more.

  4. It's to easy to blame just the parents, it seems that you also are looking for someone to blame and you chose PARENTS. In reality everybody has a little blame to accept. Not only are the schools responsible for a big part of what the kids learn, they also FRAME what makes a GOOD parent. Every one needs to step up.

  5. Stanley, you must have been raised by parents who held other children responsible for any and all of your bad behavior. The fight took place after school at a playground. Both the superintendant and the principle are doing a tremendous job and this, after school hours, off school-grounds fight has nothing to do with either of them. Police and parenting issue...with all those people watching definitely a bad-friend issue...JUST SAYIN

    1. First of all I was a GOOD kid. Why do you think so many women wanted to marry me?

The FIGHT clearly originated on school grounds. You mabe JUST SAYIN but you definitely NOT SEEIN!

  6. You are holding the Superintendant and Principle responsible for a fight that didn't take place at the school or during a school activity? These are not 5yr olds fighting in the sandbox, both are well aware of acceptable behavior. It's people like you who are responsible for creating this atmosphere of unaccountability....is anyone responsible for their actions nowadays?

    1. Why are you giving the SUPER and the PRINCIPLE a FREE PASS. The kids have some responsibility, no questions, and so do the on-lookers at the park.
So too are all of the people who click on various links to watch the video helping to GLORIFY the fighters. To answer your question....No one is accountable, we are all responsible.

  7. Good god, Latham fails miserably. I think you all know. She's a horrible candidate for a leader. In my opinion, and some teachers at English have complained she does not have her priorities straight. She changed the MCA's intermediate prep classes almost five times and wouldn't call them review classes. She's got some screws loose and I'd hate to send my kids to school with someone who is unintelligent with forming and making plans such as big decisions..
