MORE MISINFORMATION - INTENTIONAL OR INCOMPETENT? EITHER WAY, THE RIGHT ANSWER IS NOT A GOOD ANSWER

Seems like some wrong information was published up front on the LPS website. In what is sure to be a CRITICAL position as principal at COBBETT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL the posting and closing dates for the position are the same,

Now was this meant to discourage outside applicanys so hiring a new principal would insure hiring a new princiPAL? I don't know. The dates on the pdf are fine but not everybody is not going to be discouraged from following through.

Rumors of an IMPENDING Level 4 designation make it all the more important to get a highly qualified person for the job. I hear that most of the teachers over there are abandoning ship. What's that all about? Maybe it's easier to swim before the sinking starts/

    The closing date on the actual posting would supercede a typo on the website.

      No doubt, it's just bad form. It's confusing and might poyentially limit the number of applicants received, But hey, I don;t know maybe the person typing it in has cataracts too, We've all seen what that can do to one's typing skills.
