This Tuesday at 7 pm in the Tiger's Den of LVTI LPS will be hosting an OPEN HOUSE for the NEW EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTER. I am sure parents of INCOMING kindergartners were mailed a notice of this after what was originally decided behind closed doors that this new facility would be best for them, Even though LPS had a list of those parents mum was the word on notifying them that a PUBLIC HEARING to express opposition was held.
I would say that opposing views were presented but everybody said pretty much the same thing. That's alright, WE at LPS know what;s best for you.

The letter could not have been mailed out to parents until yesterday 6/21, which means most parents won't receive it until Monday 6/24 or on 6/25,the day of the meeting. This is what LPS considers effective communication. Then, when many parents don't show up because they only had a few hours notice, LPS will blame the parents and claim they were given ample notice. I certainly hope every notice that did go out, went out in the native language spoken at home and not just in English and Spanish.
