Tonight's LPOBE meeting positive accomplishments of the group were reviewed and reassessed and strategies were developed for moving forward. LSC member CHARLIE GALLO stopped by to express his concern and respect for parent's issues. Former state rep. candidate GARDY JEAN FRANCOIS participated in the meeting tonight.
Teacher's Union president BRANDT DUNCAN was there tonight to listen to some of the ideas that .parent's have. One of which was to have parents volunteer to help out in overcrowded classes. This has been problematic but hopefully tonight was the beginning of everyone coming together.
JESSE JAEGER who has been instrumental in starting LPOBE reported of a recent meeting with SUPERINTENDENT DR. LATHAM where her willingness to work with this group was expressed. In fact, she encouraged the group take a proactive approach and bring parent's concerns to her.

ReplyDeleteIt must be an election year coming up - Gallo is out there trying to get votes again...pleaseeeee! Stanley why in the world would you think any of us out here care if Gallo, Gardy, Jaeger, and the Super Duper were at the meeting...you'll start seeing the pretenders soon at your meetings...the pretenders are actors who only pretend to care when there's an election coming up...Gardy deserves to be heard and the people want him to come out and tell it all...let's talk about Gardy not the others...unless they do something we need to know about - like be nice to parents, staff, etc...parents volunteering means don't forget to run a background check on them too LOL...your blogs just aren't making some of us...please instead talk about the real things going on which have been swept under the rugs so the voter doesn't find out...we want to hear whose running for Mayor, what Gallo has really done besides just sit there and agree with the Admin., Congrats to Duncan showing up and trying to help his teachers. I have one question Stan...WHICH SIDE ARE YOU ON AT TIMES????

ReplyDeleteYou appear to talk about the same people who do nothing for us but everything for themselves. Our schools are getting worse our city is getting worse. More people moving out than ever before. Keep hiring police and fire NOW a crook of a GRANT WRITER...that GALLO AND MAYOR WERE ALL FOR.....WRITE ABOUT THAT AND ASK THEM WHERE THEY FOUND THIS LOSER?????? I guess the Mayor loves to have people in her office who sue the city or have criminal records????????
School Administraton has one thing correct, you are all crazy people and will never be happy.
How about writing about the fact that we need NEW schools, New Mayor, New Super, NEW city councils, NEW school committee people and NEW Grant writer......that should keep you busy with some real stories!!!
