Lynn schools
to ban ‘pink slime’ beef
Let's look a little more closely at this. At the root of the problem we have the USDA buying from the rich (huge farm conglomerates that have replace FARMER JOHN and MR. GREEN JEANS) then selling (USDA) TO the poor (PUBLIC SCHOOL SYSTEMS) at a reduced rate. You don't expect them to GIVE it away, how are we supposed to afford welfare for the wealthy (WEALFARE).
We were assured that there isn't any health hazard with the current stock because it had all been eradicated with some ammonium based compound and you know you clean your kitchen floors with an ammonium based compound and well once your floors are mopped, I'm sure you don't mind eating off them.
Boy, I hate growing old. Now my hearing is getting bad to go along with my math woes. I heard what the guy was saying a LITTLE different than those LSC members who were voting did. It was my understanding that the 5% rise in red meat cost was going to be from the USDA when they went away from putting slime in their product. I don't know how they can expect to pay only 5% more from suppliers other than the USDA (WEALFARE) when it would cost them so much more if they tried to replace their current stock. I think if this is true, heck let's all chip in some money and direct KEVIN MCHUGH to go play the commodities market. With all the money we make, we could send the SENIOR CLASS to ARUBA for a month for a graduation present. I bet our drop-out rates would decrease!
Now that our hamburgers are going to be SLIME-FREE, maybe we can turn our attention to the other meats. We wouldn't want to be accused of racial profiling our poultry. Do you really know what's in a hot-dog or even a slice of bologna? Where do chicken lips go? And then there are those fish sticks.
This "red slime" thing sure has opened up a can of worms. Do you remember the skit on SNL back there was a rumor about McDONALD'S and earthworms.? TACO BELL has had its troubles. Remember there is no such thing as a FREE lunch.
