She said she's going to so let's hold her to it if she stays around because after all we doing have that hearing thing going on you know. DR. LATHAM did talk positively about opening up LVTI but was once going to be MARCH has been moved back to OCTOBER. I hope so and I can't wait.

why should we? There has definitely been talk about money woes. There is even the raffling off of RED SOX tickets. Really....? Maybe next we'll check in to that canning policy again

we could do REAL CHEAP and REAL FAST is open up the pool at LVTI this SUMMER! This would really benefit the community at large.
It's been done before and it could be done again. MAKE IT WORK PEOPLE.
Last summer there was a middle school camp at LVTI ...it sold out ...guess what ...no one showed up....the attendance was awful. In November and December adult education courses were advertised and offered at LVTI , all but two ha to be cancelled , no one was interested. Last week there was in INternstional NIght, no one showed up....no one shows up, why do you keep beating this drum? they have tried, it doesn't work !
ReplyDeleteBecause the failure in the past has been a management problem, poor packaging. The people who could come couldn't afford the prices for their MICKEY MOUSE offerings. At FORD SCHOOL they offer some of what could be offered at LVTI and they have 250 people show up. I guess they march to the beat of a different drum, the same drum I play.
ReplyDeleteWhat do they offer at ford? Come on Stanley, we all know the number are inflated there. A lot of thos epeople are court ordered to be there and I'd those GED courses were successful people would graduate and move on. ESL once in a while someone give a seminar on how to start a business and they drag in the same people who are there anyway.
