Agreed.....very sad that anyone gives this rag tag team of misfit retards time to speak....thank goodness there are four reasonable and intelligent people on the school committee to support this outstanding superintendent!
Since all of Dr. Latham's supporters who spoke on her behalf tonight were employees of LPS, I am going to assume you are too. Therefore, using the term "retard" in such a derogatory way is inappropriate to say the least, wouldn't you agree? Also, if you feel she is so outstanding, please share your name and what she has done that makes you believe this? At least we "misfits" took a stand for what we believed in by showing up to the hearing and speaking about our concerns. Plus, the fact that we were not afraid to say our names.
Way to stay classy. Your true colors are showing by calling us a "tag team of misfit retards", and I would agree with Lori's guess that you are an educator. Gee, now I feel much better about the education my kids are receiving. We spoke out against what we believed was wrong...and we used our names. What was your name again? Sue Walker
I think this is a highly intelligent and caring group of parents. It is unfortunate that those who mock them, forget the community they are really working for.
