Twas the end of Christmas night
and the state of LPS was in such a fright
A new job posting was crafted with care
in hopes that a CERTAIN Deputy Superintendent would soon be there.
We've spent money that used to be SPED'S,
promises must be kept or we'll be in the red.
Classrooms are crowded and buildings are old,
the shop is back before the machines were sold.
A Confidential Secretary did return,
civil rights their lawyer did learn.
Over the schools a poet will watch,
so everyone knows when decisions they botch.
