CAN YOU HEAR US COMMERCIAL STREET?

So with DR.CRANE stepping down at FORD will the community have a VOICE in choosing her successor. Of course, she will not be easily replaceable. Asa sitting member of the SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT COUNCIL and board member of the HIGHLANDS COALITION I would hope that the community's voice will be heard. What we don't wantor need is for a new principal to come from a sinking ship like my poor friends from CALLAHAN had forced on them,

  1. I highly doubt it. And, no, she will not be replaced easily! Whoever comes in will have big shoes to fill and the question is, will they continue all the wonderful things she has done, or will this new person feel the need to make their presence known by exerting their power.

    1. We must demand that our voices are heard. That is the only way that school won;t crumble from the inside even with brand new floors.

  2. Good Luck to the super in choosing the right candidate and to the person chosen. These are very big shoes to fill. I don't think there are any fully qualified people in LPS to fill this position and if the super tries, it will unfortunately result in failure. This unique position requires a statewide or even nationwide search(just like the super position should have been)

    1. You are certainly right. Not the time for politics as usual.

    2. Very big shoes to fill??? Oh, that's right, they are replacing a clown!!!!! Why a nationwide search to replace an AGING principal of a Level 3, fast tracking to Level 4 school????

    3. When you are mature enough and bold enough to leave your name and not hide behind "anonymous" maybe then you and your comments will be considered. Until then, all you are is a nobody who has nothing to offer and nothing important to say. And please don't waste our time by responding with yet more nonsense as "anonymous" Furthermore, if you're looking to place blame on the condition of any of the schools in Lynn, look at 90 Commercial Street. This is where Dr. Latham, Superintendent of Lynn Public Schools can be found. She is the leader of the entire school district and the one ultimately responsible for every school in it.
