RAM TOUGH or NOT GOING TO THE ‘DOGS

You have to ask yourself if you’re LPS. “Why are we here?” I always thought their main mission was to see that our kids get a good education but ….

EXCUSE ME, I GUESS I WAS WRONG.

It seems we learned about a boy who was an IMPACT PLAYER (translation-good) last year on the NINTH GRADE team at CLASSICAL was denied an ATHLETIC WAIVER this year when he decided to honor his mother’s request to WALK the five minutes to ENGLISH versus taking the MBTA or taxicab to CLASSICAL.

You can understand CLASSICAL’S position, I mean why would we want to teach him to HONOR HIS FATHER AND MOTHER.

Hey, I’ve got an idea for a RESOLUTION TO THIS RECRUITMENT RUCKUS.

COACH PHELPS from CLASSICAL can pay for the bus and taxi fare necessary. Maybe PRINCIPAL CONSTATINO can chip in or maybe COACH PHELPS would rather be on the hook for the future cost of the kid’s college education. After all, I bet an IMPACT player would be a good candidate for a scholarship somewhere.

  1. It's a policy that was adopted by the current SC last year that any transfers must sit out a year, so case closed. If his parents cared so much about the commute, why didn't he attend English as a freshman?? Also, does it matter that the kid posted on FB that the reason that he wanted to transfer was because he wanted to play for Holey and never mentioned the distance to the school.

  2. There are open mic policies in place too that specifically state that there will not be any back and forth communication or debating between speakers and the committee. However, this didn't stop our superintendent of schools from violating that policy and our mayor allowing her. There are policies and procedures in place that must be followed in order to make a school an innovation school. Lynn has not followed these procedures for the Washington School, which is why it is NOT an innovation school. However, this has not stopped our superintendent from proclaiming (and continuing to proclaim) that it is an innovation school. I could go on and on about the so called policies that LPS has in place, which they violate daily. Unfortunately, these policies are only enforced when it's a parent wanting help and services for their children....Case closed!!
