What I find interesting, with the exception of Callahan and Lynn Woods swapping spots, the top performing half of the schools stays the top half in both ELA and Math. And if Connery, Harrington and Washington are our lowest performing schools with Washington the absolute lowest performing - Where is Washington's money?

Top 8 ELA:

Sisson, Shoemaker, Brickett, Aborn, Lincoln-Thompson, Sewell-Anderson, Lynn Woods, Tracy.

Top 8 Math:

Licoln-Thomson, Tracy, Sisson, Shoemaker, Aborn, Callahan, Bricket, Sewell-Anderson.

  1. What Kool-Aid stains? I gave you the KIPP good with the KIPP bad, and believe me my objective first thing Monday morning is to find out what KIPP is planning on doing about not making AYP. And you wanna know something Stan? I bet I'll get a real answer.

  3. I didn't get an answer this morning but I go something more than LPS would have given me. First I got to speak with one of the Vice Principals, Mr. Jones, who referred me to the Principal, Ms. Breen. Ms. Breen was in a meeting with the Dean of Students (I forget her name), but they invited me in to see if we could set up an appointment. Our schedules didn't mesh so Ms. Breen offered to call me from her home at a time that was convenient to me. Before leaving she said, "We have a lot of things lined up for this year to help, I'll let you know what we have in store."

So I didn't get an answer but I got an appointment for a phone call that should have some answers. What did your school tell you about not making AYP?
