ALMOST TWINS

You know I was in one of my moments of deep contemplation. I asked myself, "Self, why do you like RICK STARBARD so much?". I was really perplexed and then it came to me.

I just had to break it down, STAR - BARD. After all a "bard" is a poet and well. STAR is kind of like "premier" and everybody wants to be the best. So I guess my support is just a natural fit. Well almost. I mean it would be a better fit if RICK limped or something!

  1. watch the debate on cable again. had to watch it twice to see what a "racist' rick is. also to use profantiy in a jewish temple. he is making lynn look real good. not. is it true that he is still being investigated for ethic violations with his auto place? well, stan you have some homework to do. another one you like that just does nothing for me and lynn as a whole. would like to know more. he is not getting my vote or the votes of my whole family. which equals 8.

  2. You could hear the degree of "profanity" YOu are talking about on the Disney channel. The racist label is ridiculous and just shows you don't know what you are talking about. Do you have any proof of these allegations because he almost voted on the side with the only woman of color on the LSC. Also he is not afraid to speak for himself and doesn't hide behind the "anonomyous" tag. Do you know anyone like that?

  3. Coincidentally Buzzy said the exact same thing as Starbard (see Lynn Item 9/16/11)

Quote: Barton also believes the city
should be proud of its reputation
    as a community that opens
its arms to all immigrants, but
Lynn also needs to protect its
    assets.
“I was surprised to learn that
    the United Nations High Commission
    actively relocates people
    here from all over the
world,” he said. “Lynn is one of
    its designated places.”
    The biggest impact of the
    constant influx of immigrants,
Barton said, is felt in the
    schools, where nearly 50 different
    languages are spoken.
“In hosting such a large number
    of immigrants, it’s important
    we strike a balance
    between being a welcoming
    community and ensuring we
don’t use up all our resources.
We have to protect what we
    have,” Barton said.

  4. Are we going to start calling Buzzy Barton a racist too?

  5. To the first comment. Before you spew ignorance all over the page do your homework. Whoever is giving you your "info" doesn't have a clue. The world needs more people like Rick Starbard and less ignorant people like you. Have a nice day.

  6. You go Anon #2, #3 and P2! Just make sure you get out and vote on Nov. 8th. Rick was 7th in the primary and that wont be enough to keep him on SC.

And I think the point that Rick was trying to make with his, "we have people who cannot get their damn masks on," was: How can we help others, when we haven't learned to help ourselves yet? How can we expect our immigrant population to teach their children English when they themselves cannot speak, read or write in it?
