Deb Hines This building is in really good shape and it's just sitting there! Why can't Lynn negotiate something with Swampscott, since we are in such desperate need of space. It's not that far over the Lynn line! I LOVE that building, it has such character! The library was my favorite place in that building.
It would seem to solve a lot of problems. I hear SWAMPSCOTT even elected a LPS to the CITY COUNCIL who might have a connection with someone on the school committee. Might make for easier negotiations!

ReplyDeleteI don't know the exact enrollment numbers but you may have a sall point. As for Shoemaker the arguement may be it is because they have the COACH program. True but so does DREWICZ and they are busing kindergarteners away from that school and then there s INGALLS where they are BUSING SPED kids to put them with KINDERGARTENERS!
