Is Music, Art, Dance or Drama Important in Your Child’s Life?
Is your child challenged creatively at school?
Do you believe all children should have access to the arts in school?
On Thursday, March 29, from 7:00-9:00pm the Massachusetts Cultural Council will be hosting an arts advocacy night to help educate parents, teachers and administrators about how they can more effectively advocate for arts in their schools. Join other parents in this interactive evening; learn how to know what you want, how to ask for it, and how to stay involved! Participants will also learn how successful parent advocates keep creativity and arts education strong in their children’s schools to prepare them for the 21st-Century workplace and college. This workshop will be held at Lynn Arts, 25 Exchange Street, Lynn. Free childcare (age 3 and older) & refreshments will be provided.
