No doubt this is going to leave a black eye on LYNN ENGLISH, LPS, and the city of LYNN. As with a lot of crimes, it's not the crime itself that is most damaging, it's the cover-up.
The ramifications of this debate will far exceed the halls of the high school. The public perception of our schools will have grave consequences in our business community and will affect future decisions about whether or not to locate a business here, not to mention the real estate market whether or not families want to buy a house here and raise a family here.
This is why I keep harping on the fact the LYNN CITY COUNCIL has a responsibility and an obligation to get more involved in our schools.
