NAVS GET SCHOOLED

BRICKETT was the first school to show up for today's game!

Once again the NAVIGATORS hosted SCHOOL DAY with guest from all the 5th grade classes in Lynn who were joined by some SALEM WITCHES and students from the PROCTOR whose band mot only payed the STAR-SPANGLED BANNER but also entertained the crowd with some traditional songs.

This is the fourth year for this special day that was started when DR. LATHAM accepted NAVS' GM BILL TERLECKY of free tickets to a game for LPS students when the new ownership took over. I had asked LSC member DONNA COPPOLA to put BILL on an LSC agenda so he could make his pitch and well the rest has been some good history. Of course my suggestion was a little self-serving, you see, my daughter ASIAH, who went to the old MARSHALL at the time sang the National Anthem for the first school day which was just an exhibition game at the time. Today's and subsequent games have been regular games with regular FCBL opponents.

The first pitch for today's contest was thrown out by new LSC member and former collegiate wrestler, ATTORNEY JARED NICHOLSON

ATTORNEY NICHOLSON is seen before the pitch talking to NAVS GM BILL TERLECKY presumably discussing signals.

Unfortunately the NAVS lost today's contest 6-0 to the NASHUA SILVER KNIGHTS but a few student fans were winners of more than Frisbees, a few shirts, and some soft baseballs. Everyone got a chance to relax and celebrate the spring after a year of rigorous testing. From the start of this now annual event this was DR. LATHAM'S plan all along.

Of course, CHOMPS was in the house.
