HEY BUDDY, COULD YOU SPARE A DIME?

I'm not good with numbers, so somebody please help me to understand. I don't understand how we can have enough money to hire an extra deputy and her Confidential Secretary (well it looks like they haven't signed new contracts because SOMEBODY wanted to block the superintendent's contract) yet not "have the money" to vacate the offices on COMMERCIAL STREET and move them to BENNETT STREET.

Maybe we could convince one of those poor people that have those little car allowances to divert a month or two's payment to U-Haul. Then there's that $750,000 LYNN CITY COUNCIL sprung for that MARSHALL feasibility study without knowing we were going to get 80% back. Heck that building could probably serve as a temporary place for the displaced MARSHALL students. I tell you though it seems a waste to me to make that top notch building a temporary anything. The reluctance of the administration to vacate the building tells me they agree,

  1. If they really cared about the kids, this building would not sit vacant while overcrowding worsens. Previously, Ford middle school...now vacant...seems to be the "agenda" for all of our public schools.

  3. funny, i recall during the last sc debates that all present sc members said that it was going to open in sept and washington....to avoid overcrowding so what has changed since being elected in again. NOTHING! lip service anyone!
