 |  | While almost all states have some anti-bullying laws, they vary in form and strength. Due to several highly publicized student suicides and a rise in cyber-bullying, lawmakers are taking notice of these inconsistencies.
This year, New Jersey adopted one of the strongest anti-bullying laws in the country. Teachers will receive training to address bullying and students will band together in "safety teams." Perhaps most importantly, investigations of bullying incidents will occur within one day.
Each state needs to have strong policies in place to foster safe learning environments for every child. Sign the pledge today in support of anti-bullying laws in all states! |
