How are we going to fund SPED? We have probably 3 six figure figureheads and $597, 114 dollars in clerical salaries BEFORE the latest CONFIDENTIAL SECRETARY was added at another say 50 K.
That CS of course was put back because the position never really left because LPS had done some illegal shenanigans around her previous termination.
SO....
someone decided the best resource to get money to PAY for all these administration salaries is to OUTSOURCE the little guy. We need to OCCUPY COMMERCIAL STREET!
Obviously Stanley the answer is chaos...they terminated an employee who treated us parents with the utmost respect...in turn many of us didn't hire lawyers because she always managed to get the messages to the so called professionals who wouldn't return our calls, but they did after she told them too...so let's see: money taken away for the super (not acceptable) and someone should check into the legality of what Federal monies mean...another way of saying it is check the specifications of the way they can utilize the monies...if it says sped personnel then IT'S SPED PERSONNEL, NOT THE SUPER...PEOPLE NEED TO WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE AND START SPEAKING UP AND STANDING UP FOR YOUR TAX DOLLARS AND GRANT MONIES...rumor has it one of the admins is leaving and hasn't been in for a couple weeks when I tried calling her...will they replace her, with whom, will the PAC get involved in helping the director choose the MOST QUALIFIED PERSON...it's the people's city so start acting like it's yours...so if someone does a good job like the confi they give her the boot, have to pay her back all the money she was owed, and why because they want to put another confi in the super. office...what's this tell you...and after reading it in the lynn item obviously this confi hired a lawyer to win back legally her confi position...with that being said sounds like she got some dough, probably still fighting, and who knows how they are treating her now...went in to see the staff and the confi is not the greeter for the director anymore...why? because she was nice and respectful but they thought she was favoring the parents...how ridiculous this all seems...who has the education and professionalism here...sometimes all this makes me wonder why this city allows those to be in charge to continue their behaviors even after lawsuits are won...the confi won or she wouldn't be back there...how much money did they owe her, is she still pursuing, and is she allowed to talk to us parents??? Find out Stanley we need to start checking every avenue...LET'S STOP THE SPED NONSENSE AND FIX THE PROBLEMS = success and the kids become successful...NO MORE ROSE COLORED GLASSES...LET'S GET IT TOGETHER AND TAKE OUR SPED DEPT AND CITY BACK NOW AND FOREVER!!!
ReplyDeleteI think you are right when you are predicting chaos.Sounds like their PRIVATIZATION PLOY may be a way to get rid of the TROUBLESOME CS. I will check out those rumours. I would hope PAC would be involved in any possible replacements. I am not holding my breath.
ReplyDeleteI don't think they will be privatizing anyone...I think this is all rumors...unions are not going to take that chance...not only that I am pretty sure this is nothing new just the checking of the budget brought it to head...can't always blame the boss and maybe it was arranged before her time...no one knows only the boss what really is going on...hopefully is just a huge miscommunication because jobs are hard enough to find now...yeah the PAC is not doing their job...they need to bond and act...until then they will all swim...what happened to that lawyer that was attending the PAC mtgs that the parents had there? I recall one PAC member giving her about 500 IEP's to go through and how did they get them? The parents gave them out??? Makes me wonder what's really going on here...what is this world coming too? As for the confi don't be mistaken she is a bright girl, not looking for any problems, trained by the best Mr. Driscoll who was particular, and I'm sure her lawyer is on the ball...or should I say Lawyers LOL...she wants nothing but the best for the dept and children...those who know her are very aware of her dedication to helping people...she is one of 18 children, huge West Lynn family, she is related to everyone, and watch how strong anyone she works for politically holds that 3,000 plus people...she is a machine and well respected...as you can see I think the world of her and it's because she did her job and ALWAYS IN THE BEST INTEREST OF LPS...she knows the laws...get that PAC going STanley...I believe your a member so round it up don't wait for the rest...2 or 3 of you are a power house together...look at what the past PAC's did...no more sitting back, complaining, and get going with some documents...bye until the next story...put your writing where it counts and that's for the children put this watch on hold...I am counting on you to round the troops up...numbers say it all...bye for now Mr. Poet who doesn't know it - you have the power man.
