Make no mistake about it, SUE ROWE is an UPGRADE in the looks department at that department level. I was waiting for newcomer CHARLIE GALLO to break out in song after the announcement of her new hire.
"HERE SHE IS, MISS DEPUTY SUPERINTENDENT"
But SUE ROWE is not all beauty, she's got EDUCATION. Uh well, she doesn't have her doctorate and LYNN is the fifth largest school district. She's got EXPERIENCE. Okay so she has never been a principal of a school, neither has DR. LATHAM and she seems to lead a failing district just fine. Come on now, at least we can say we are the best of the worst.
You know, after four wives maybe I'm not the best to weigh in here.
The statement about Dr. Latham leading a failing distric just fine is perfect!! Lynn is one of the lowest (I believe the top 10 lowest) districts in the entire state of Massachusetts, but our administration is not willing to spend money on and provide the necessary supplies our children need. However, they are willing to spend an extra $200,000 per year (that they miraculously discovered) on a second deputy superintendent and yet ANOTHER overpaid secretary. It is quite disappointing that Charlie Gallo is not the positive change our schools need and our residents hoped for!!
ReplyDeleteI don't know who thought Charlie was different. Anyone that knows him or talked to him would have told you he would be voting with the establishment always. He doesn't like making 'waves'

ReplyDeleteIt's all about attitude. Rowe has that in your face, cut throat, fire now ask questions later attitude. Funny how the admin gets rid of secretaries, teacher's etc. without following proper protocol then these people get their jobs back plus back pay etc. Great if they deserve it but not if the allegations were serious and potentially harmful to students.

Kevin McHugh's salary: about $125,000
The salaries for countless confidential secretaries for these 4 positions: about $50,000 each
The middle school and high school secretaries salaries: about $50,0000
The starting salary for a teacher with a MASTERS DEGREE (6 years of college): about $41,000
Sure pays to be part of the administration team that is leading our FAILING district!!
