Who's Who And Who's Where?

The SPED department were represented at last night's PAC meeting by Jessica and Lydia. Rick Starbard from the LSC was also there. No other LSC members or even candidates were there, which was unfortunate because a fine presentation was given about the dreaded MCAS and how it pertains to the special needs students. Perhaps the dreary weather kept the "good times" from rolling. It's election time and do you know where your candidate is?

  1. I do think it a lot more important that the school administration is well represented over seeing School Committee members at a meeting. In the end it is the admins that dictate the course of the programs. Please share with the rest of us some of the points that were given regarding the MCAS. How are the public schools faring this year with the failing schools?

  2. I think it's important that administration and school committee members are everywhere that parents meet and vice versa. In order that information is shared, everyone needs to be at the table. Avoiding misunderstandings are critical going forward. I will share what I learned about the MCAS in future posts in the near future.

  3. Well Stanley,
As I had mentioned to you at the Highland Coalition meeting the other night, I was not able to attend the last PAC meeting. I have been to many PAC meetings over the years as well as the last few. I was busy being a MOM and attending my son's baseball practice and photos. I can only be at one place at a time. So if you or any memebers of the PAC are every wondering where I am or have any concerns or questions, please feel free to call me at anytime 781-589-7459 cell or email: www.dee42012@hotmail.com

  6. Listen Delores, do you think I pay attention to everything you say? Make up your mind, do you want to be a politician or a mom? Your son is going to grow up no matter what you do. Why are you trying to be a good influence on him?

I noticed your covert plant at the PAC meeting. (Actually he is head of security at the "Watch". I may need a bodyguard cause I've made a few enemies)
