- This a GREAT thing to see. Celebration of accomplishment is the best way to build self-esteem. It was NICE to see LPS working with FAMILY AND CHILDREN'S SERVICES on this little ceremony despite the fact no one in the job market will ever see those diplomas. These little graduates will remember it for life perhaps even a springboard to advanced education.
One thing though recently there has been a strong push away from such celebrations in actual LPS schools. Wasn't there quite a debacle with the KINDERGARTEN graduations or lack thereof last year particularly at the EARLY CHILDHOOD CENTER on COMMERCIAL STREET?
