Photo: Help us bring 40,000 free books to our children in December! In partnership with the Lynn Teachers Union and the national nonprofit First Book, we're taking the Book Truck Challenge! Through the First Book website at www.firstbook.org/aft, we are seeking to register 2,000 Lynn teachers, school staff, community agency staff, and others who work with children in need in our community. If we meet this goal, First Book will send a Book Truck filled with 40,000 brand-new books to Lynn, just in time for the holidays! The illustration below describes the groups in our community who can help us win this challenge. If you know anyone who works for any of these organizations in Lynn, please share this post.
