NOW I AM NOT SAYING ANYTHING ILLEGAL WAS DONE. CHUCK is a LAWYER and when was the last time a LAWYER ever did anything ILLEGAL?
Still though you have to admit there are some bad optics here. I mean CHUCK has toVOTE on DOC LATHAM'S contract. This is definitely a POCKETBOOK issue. I am sure he won't ASK me for ADVICE but I would RECOMMEND he RECUSE himself any VOTES on her contract or EVALUATION.

What ties does Largam have to the Democrat Party or Agnes Ricco? Gallo is not his own. Wake up people. The new boys are faces of the old boy network.
ReplyDeleteOn an interesting side note, look at Gallo's supporters. Rosemary Sargent, Ron Mendes are both a part of the Lynn Community Health Center. Today's Item shows the LCHC supporting partners. Oddly, during elections Leslie Greenberg, part of the Lynn Health Task Force sent friend cards to vote for Gallo. Why would Pro-Partners people get behind Gallo? If you think for a moment he would have helped keep Union Hospital in Lynn... just goes to show who flocks to candidates like Latham's hubby. Thank you for sharing a portion of the puzzle.

ReplyDeleteGallo is a politician through and through. He used the school committee as a starting point for his political career. He has no idea what is going on in our schools and only steps foot in them to show face. He tried and failed at state rep and he will most likely try for a seat on the city council even though he was supposedly against their raises. He started the whole Gordon fiasco as a strategy to gain votes, but that did not work. In fact, he probably lost votes for not putting the students first and destroying an extremely beneficial partnership that had lasted over a decade. He has failed to discuss any of the numerous consequences that have and will stem from his actions because he has already moved on to his next political agenda.
