Today I was with David Gass of the HIGHLANDS COALITION for a meeting at the FORD SCHOOL where I got to witness an MCAS rally. Music, dancing, and applause provided for an eruption of positive energy that will encourage students to do their best. It's good to see a PEP RALLY for academic achievement.
I know FORD SCHOOL is not the only one that does this sort of thing.....
BUT.....
that's where I was. Students, all students, need a release from the exorbitant amount of pressure placed on them by all this high stakes testing.
MCAS was postponed for tomorrow by DESE. Relic must have missed the flurry of emails from admin and several of the other principals!! Waste of time at Ford as usual!!
