DR. CHERYL MENINO graciously gave $100 from the PAC line item, MAYBE FROM HER POCKET, I DON'T KNOW, so there will be snacks at the next PAC meeting. My tummy thanks you. Just like FIELD OF DREAMS, have pizza and they will come.
BUT...
Hey, I'm the TREASURER but was the money given to me? NOOOOOOO! Maybe she couldn't reach me. I mean I know my e mails are blocked from LPS, maybe they can't send them either.
Well there are other officers that could have been contacted. My BFF, she's co-chair, she could have been involved in the transaction. Her passion for extreme couponing could have turned the $100 into possibly bushels of snacks and 99 bottles of shampoo!
Then there is the other co-chair, DAVE ELLIS. But his relationship with the SPED department is not warm and fuzzy, it's caustic even. You see DAVE is a stickler for rules and proper procedure. I always wondered if they have to follow ROBERT'S RULES OF ORDER at his dinner table.
SO....
the money was given to a BOARD MEMBER. Was it a thinly veiled attempt to diss us? I DON'T CARE. Thank you DR. MENINIO for the pizza! My stomach is not proud!

Lynn Public Schools blocked you, a parent, from sending them emails?? So much for that parental involvement they claim they want so much!! What they really mean, but don't say in their endless powerpoint presentations, is they only want you involved as a parent, IF you are naive enough to believe and agree with whatever they are saying, planning and doing!! Sorry, but not all of us can be so easily swayed by Dr. Latham's tactics (some of which are not that ethical, such as making phone calls announcing the person she has chosen for the deputy superintendent position, when that position hadn't even been approved or funded yet) It's too bad half our school committee members, including our newest member, were so easily swayed!!

ReplyDeleteI am truly sorry that you all have to continually fight the LPS in order to get your children what they deserve. But, unless you ALL come together and begin to work as a WHOLE and go after all of the political, administrative and school committee hacks. Nothing will ever change!!!! It all starts at the TOP, the CHAIR and VICE CHAIR then the school committee members that they made backdoor deals with in order for them to win. Someone needs to investigate the MAYORS AIDS...GARDIE and MARY CHALMERS.....they sent out text messages before elections and went to all the local minority churches, groups and made deals to get THEIR people elected in order to continue to SCREW THIS GREAT CITY!!!!! I say we "OCCUPY LYNN"....
STANLEY, you are brave to report the truth, but you are sometimes easily fooled by the people around you. LIKE GALLO, GARDIE and the MAYOR. They do not care about our children only themselves. Please reach out to all disabled parents, sped parents and regular ed parents.
