Lynn mayor says salary should be similar to other communities
No arguement here! THE MAYOR IS UNDERPAID! Of course then again I am underpaid.....that is if I was paid at all. The question next becomes where does the money come from?
You know what is also not similar to all those surrounding towns that the MAYOR is using to show how underpaid she is? They aren't in danger of LOSING 7 MILLION DOLLARS of CHAPTER 70 money because they didn't allocate enough of their cities budget for their schools. Somebody other than me ought to be asking "WHY IS THAT?". Where did all the tax money go?

No taxation without representation. Other communities have representation. Where is the mayor in the Gateway Communities meetings? Lynn is missing out on many funds because the Mayor has been absent from the table.

In all fairness when they told her, "YOU DON'T HAVE TO GO HOME BUT YOU CAN'T STAY HER" her bearings probably got off!!
