Congratulations To The Lynn Woods School!

Congratulations to Mrs. Whalen’s 3rd Grade Class at the Lynn Woods Elementary school for winning the Siemens "We Can Change the World" Challenge. The challenge at the elementary school level is designed to help students work together to solve an environmental problem in their classroom or school community. As 1st Place National Winners they will received: Class Prizes: · a one-hour Discovery Education assembly for their school · a Siemens We Can Change the World Challenge green prize pack (for each student) School Prize:  · a $5,000 school grant to be used to further "green" initiatives · a banner for their school Click here to view their winning proposal on how to Stop Dumping and Start Helping.
