DR. LATHAM lamented the rapid growth of the NEWCOMER program, ballooning from around 100 last year to about 150 this year, It's got to be a real strain. What makes it really painful is the questions about accreditation for the services we are mandated to provide.
The argument is not about whether we should be providing these services because we already do. The real issue is whether or not we are wasting, throwing good money after bad. I have written all the right people referencing reports of students not getting credit for time served so to speak, in order to get some clarification. I'm sure that answer will be coming any day.
