DR. LATHAM is supposed to have met with MIKE DONOVAN to try and secure additional funds for more water testing in the schools. The committee was assured that regular testing had been done and all was safe but given the FLINT FOUL-UP that testing would be ramped up to put everyone's mind at ease.
Well my mind would have certainly put at ease if I wasn't at all concerned about safety. Hearing that years pass between a rotating schedule of testing did little to bring me comfort. Face it, our schools are old built long before science had raised our concern about certain building materials. Anybody remember asbestos? DR. NEIL DEGRASSE said it best SCIENCE is true whether you believe it or not.
