Where does it stop? The better question is to ask where it began. Too mank cutbacks in the wrong places while 20-some admininistrators make over 100K at LPS. All the while we have 90% of our students getting free or reduced lunch!

Do you know who the child is? Their family is going to need a lot of assistance getting the child back into school. Lynn typically holds the child out of school on a 37 H 1/2, but if the child is on an IEP or should have been on an IEP, that child has the right to an education. I don't know if you want to put a plea out there or not but if that child's family contacts you, I could put them in contact with the people who can help (besides myself that is).

ReplyDeleteGood points... You're both whacked!!!!! An IEP does not constitute protection from dangerous and illegal activity. No matter the age. If it was one of you you'd both be screaming . What really makes you tick? Does an individuals behavior really have the ability to hind behind an IEP? When is it the child social behavior become their responsibility or its family's ????????
