No Deals, No Way!

Please I would ask that the mayor and the school  administration continue their rigid position in regards to any resolution of the lawsuit involving confidential secretaries. I mean I gives me something to write about and my numbers are up. WAY UP.

I'm learning things, hearing things. I've got more stories to write. Think of me. I mean I'm poor, I can't work at my job any more because of my stupid cane. So what dragging your feet is going to cost the taxpayers more money, I mean taxes will still be due.

Only our kids truly suffer and they are young. They will grow out of it.

  1. Alot of people don't know this website, but yes the children always suffer! The administration should lose jobs instead of some CS who has been working for the city for years. She has been a pleasure to deal with and others should learn how to treat parents when they go to the office for help. Time to fix the problem and keep the money for the kids. Has anyone approached the CS to come to a resolution yet? I hear you Stanley, stop dragging your feet school officials and make it right. She has helped the city save money - probably enough to pay her salary for 20 years. It's election year so make it right before we get out and vote!

  2. Stanley:
You are doing a great job! I agree that this website needs more attention...I plan on sending out mass emails with this attached to all my family, friends to make sure they know what is happening in our schools and how people are voting when it comes to the needs of our children. We need much MORE attention focused on Special Education. I have noticed over the years that the SPED department does not get mentioned or addressed by any School Committee members. I ask why? I have been told by many inside sources that the SPED department is in turmoil and that our district is being sued due to violations on IEP's, protocols etc......I would love to hear from anyone (parents, educators etc.) who are currently or have dealt with this very subject. The city has a very large number of children placed outside of the district and it is costing the city/schools alot of money. But, I do know and understand that our school system can not and does not have the resources or training to be able to properly educate many of the special education children.....we need to start looking for solutions and being more creative
    What are your thoughts?

  4. Thanks for helping to spread the word. The more voices we have, the more likely "they" are to hear us.
