But money for a raise
Taxes will pay the cost
For our financial malaise.
We shortchange our schools
And think it's just fine.
No need for rules,
Pass another glass of wine.
When it comes to testing we're sure to fail
In ways you never saw.
You know what that will entail -
Over the limit in blood alcohol.
Not nearly enough money
For our schools to fix
But you voted for me honey
