NEED A LITTLE COMMON CENTS
Sorry, you know me I am a CURIOUS GUY and I don't mean just funny looking. You see the MAYOR has PUBLICLY voiced her concerns about the influx of UNNACCOMPANIED MINORS. Some of those are real and need to be addressed, so her's a letter from CONGRESSMAN TIERNEY that attempted to alleviate some of those fears:

You will soon find that the Congressman did not have or include all the relevant information in his letter. Also, the mayor, super and others requested his help with this issue 2 years ago and he pretty much told them they were on their own. Interesting how elections make people change their tunes.
ReplyDeleteAbout that request for help, I don't recall them so PUBLICLY expressing opposition but again you are right - elections change people.
DeleteYou are right in how elections get people's attention. Why do we have to wait to find out the missing info?
ReplyDeleteI am sure anyone who wants all the information and details can get them on their own by contacting the DESE and the other agencies mentioned in Congressman Tierney's letter.
DeleteMy point exactly. If anyone disputes the info Congressman Tierney provided then all they have to do is prove him wrong. It doesn't make the info false JUST because people say so. If he's wrong, it is easy enough to prove and should have aalready been done. I would be glad to print a CORRECTED version.
