How come there is no PARENT or COMMUNITY representation on the TRANSITION TEAM at FORD SCHOOL? Call me crazy but it seems to me if one is really interested in a SMOOTH transition then you need to have all the KEY players at the table.
UNLESS.....
you are really GUNNING for a LEVEL 4 designation where more money pours in to pay more consulting FEES to retired teachers and family and friends. All at the expense of the true objective: the KIDS.
The administration, including C. Crane already know the results of the spring MCAS, though they are not allowed to reveal them til September. My guess is that's why CC retired at this time, since she would have had to be replaced, just like at Harrington and Connery when they went to Level 4.

DeleteMaybe Claire Crane retired because she is 76 years old and ready to go to the next phase of her life - plus she works at Salem State University and has bad asthma. Why think there is more to her retiring?
