WHAT CAN I SAY? OH, I ALREADY DID!

  1. Another thoughtful letter by Stanley Wotring, of The Lynn School Watch to the Editor of The Daily Item, in todays paper. People's voices are coming forward and the common message is loud and clear. This is for all people. Thank you Stanley for always taking a stand and for your support!

Koudanis is true champion of people

    To The Item Editor:
For over four years now I having been poking fun and chronicling the goings-on ongoing of the Lynn School Committee in my blog, LYNN SCHOOL WATCH, with a little humor and a dash of poetry. I have raised the question numerous times about why the city councilmen almost never come to the School Committee meetings yet half the city budget goes to the schools and providing a good education is vital to the city’s economic development. Seemingly it would behoove them to be on top of the issues before the committee yet Councilman Crighton has helped put forth city budgets underfunding the schools the past few years.
Charlie Gallo has sat on the Lynn School Committee for the past four years and actually held the malnourished LPS budgets in his hands yet passed them on regardless of the sufferings of the students. I feel that Charlie often takes positions that are often little more than opportunities for self-aggrandizement.
In the race for state representative for the 11th District, we are lucky to have a candidate, Katerina Panagiotakis Koudanis, who is a born leader bursting with creativity and passion for innovation that shows her zest for solving problems by taking a more global approach taking all factors into consideration. She is a true champion, full of ideals and principles.
