So if it is as I hear, that former LVTI (and you know I'm partial to TECH) principal JIM RIDLEY is going to be the interim principal at MARSHALL what does that say about the decision to have a WHOLE TRANSITION TEAM at FORD?
Looks like SOMEBODY is getting SPECIAL treatment or at least DIFFERENT.

Jim Ridley is a smart political move. I doubt she thought of it herself. She is much to arrogant. He is very respected in the community. It will help quell the community anger while she scrambles to find a replacement. The replacement has to be someone she can undermine and control. For her it is all about absolute power and absolute control. It is too bad. Once upon a time, it was about student learning.

DeleteMarshall is among the lowest performing middle schools in the state.
ReplyDeletePrincipals are not the only people with pressure on them. Superintendents also feel the crunch.
Who wants to open a state-of-the-art facility knowing the schools' not up to snuff?

DeleteWe will have to wait and see last years school MCAS results under Cowdell. If his results are improving that is all anyone can ask of a principal.
