After attending a SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT COUNCIL meeting at FORD SCHOOL yesterday, I am happy to reportbthat as of now the plans are to keep the school open this summer. Sounds to me like the ASBESTOS COVER-UP work will continue on the second floor but won't require the shutting down of the whole school again.
This is good for thw HIGHLANDS community since there won't be the difficulties around the timing of serving lunch. Alot of meals are provided at that location
