It's a crying shame
when teacher's take the blame
for having a retirement much too high
for the city to even try
to give schools their due
but the MAYOR finds money to sue.
The classrooms aren't the only thing that's full
so are some billfolds and that's just bull.
The budget, the MAYOR did rearrange,
conseqently the schools she did shortchange
Now we're asked to expect
the legislature to fix this wreck.
The responsibilty for the blamr
is the one driving the train
